It feels weird to start in the middle here, but I feel like some sort of acknowledgment is better than none at this point, so here we go.

Baby boy has been movin’ and groovin’ all around. He even kicked Leslie in the face the other day, and Eleanor thought that was hilarious!
Food cravings have subsided for the most part (unless you count CARBS as a craving: give me alllll the bread, all the Chick-fil-a waffle fries, Nutella toast and Halloween candy; but that just feels like my regular life lol)
I wish I could say the same about nausea, but I’m still taking daily medication to help with that (judge me if you must, but I’ve got a life to live OUTSIDE of my bed with a bucket by my nightstand lol)
We still don’t have a name for this babe. I’m honestly kind of shocked, because I feel like we had Eleanor’s name nailed down at this point in my pregnancy with her. Naming a person feels like such a big task though, and I feel like all of our boxes haven’t necessarily been checked off just yet.
We pretty much have most of the basics for him though: crib, stroller, carseat, rocker, gowns/clothes, baby lounger. We still want to grab a few small things along with diapers and wipes, obviously; but we’re feeling good about the less is more approach this time around.
I’m finding that my current sleep situation is preparing me for those sleepless nights with a newborn. I wake up approximately 972846153 times to pee at night, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT. (E calls me a pee pot)
As of the last week or so, I’ve woken up with leg and foot cramps too!
Oh, and lest we forget that if I eat dinner too late or drink water too quickly at night, I also wake up with major heartburn. (I would just like to state that I’ve only ever experienced heartburn during both of my pregnancies, so I’m pretty thankful that it’s not a consistent thing in life, because IT SUCKS)
It’s still hard to wrap my mind around the fact that our family won’t just be the three of us anymore. We’re all pretty excited for our new addition though! Can’t wait to welcome another little Sumner kiddo to our small crew.
