It feels weird to start in the middle here, but I feel like some sort of acknowledgment is better than none at this point, so here we go.

I totally want to be one of those people who can “live on less”; yet I buy paper towels and toilet paper in bulk, (we always have, that’s not a quarantine thing, that’s a regular life thing), have a cabinet full of coffee mugs and a linen closet full of blankets. Y’ALL, I can’t believe I’m even typing this right now…. but Society of Sumner is officially a website! A blog! Whatever you want to call it! Eeeeekkkk!!
When I switched my Instagram account to Society of Sumner, I never dreamed that I’d have any use for a blog. I just enjoyed sharing my home with y’all. But as my IG starting growing, so did my list of home decor projects, and I’m still getting questions about how we did our faux brick wall in the dining room of our last house (sorry, no DIY story or pictures for that lol). So with our new house being one big fixer upper, I really felt like having a place for all of our projects to live would be so fun! Now anytime anyone wants to refer back to a past project (or even shop our home), it’ll all be right here on the blog!
I seriously appreciate you guys so freaking much, and I’m so excited that you’re here!
