I think we can all agree that the year 2020 has twisted and turned in ways that none of us could have expected. That being said, I can’t believe it’s almost Mother’s Day!! I’m normally super prepared for gift-giving, but quarantine has gotten the best of me this year and I’m last minute ordering online, hoping it arrives in time! I figure I can’t be the only one in this boat, right? So here are some ideas for Mother’s Day gifts this year, in case you’re right there with me.
- I like to start with a basket, because gift baskets are my jam! You can fill them with gifts (or snacks) and use them in place of a gift bag, then mom can use it for storage later. Sometimes I’ll use a tote bag the same way! I actually have this bag and love it so much.
- Add in some cozy pajama shorts …maybe a matching top too!
- I love the idea of affordable, everyday jewelry for gift-giving. That way it’s not so precious that it only gets pulled out for special occasions; and instead is in the wear-everyday-pile. That way every time mom reaches for it, she thinks of you! I love this option, and there are a few more here, here, here and here.
- Love this beautiful wooden tray. It’s perfect for displaying her favorite perfumes, essential oils, fruit in the kitchen or maybe just the remote control on the coffee table.
- You could grab a timelessly beautiful pitcher and fill it with grocery store (or yard) flowers!
- If you enjoy baking, you could grab a pretty cake stand and bake mom a cake! I like this one too.
- If you have kids, you could let them draw a cute little picture or note and put it in a frame. I like this one and this one.
- Y’all know I’m into home decor and cozying up any space that I can, so adding in a faux plant for some color in your gift basket is a no brainer. Presentation is key!
- Love this cutie little riser. Perfect for hand soap by the sink, a candle and some greenery or maybe just adding a little height to your decor throughout the house.
- I have a kitchen hand towel problem. I buy so many of them that we constantly run out of room to store them! They’re just a practical way to add extra coziness to the kitchen!
- If your mom loves to try new recipes, maybe grab the new Magnolia cookbook to go with the hand towels.
- Add in this knife set, and you’ve got yourself a themed gift basket.
- These cute tumblers are super affordable, and there’s even an insulated wine glass option.
- If your mom is into essential oils, I think that this diffuser is really pretty. Here is another option too.
- I love the smell of this beautiful candle, and I feel like this one probably smells like the beach!
- Grab a cozy throw blanket that matches mom’s decor
- Maybe grab a cute pillow or two
Not pictured here, but I can’t get ready in the mornings without my LED mirror, so I highly recommend this as a gift too! You could add in some face masks and a pajama set, and you’re all set on a “pamper yourself” gift basket!
