Sometimes I get the urge to swap decor from room to room; and once I get started, it’s like a domino effect and I cannot be stopped
This swan art used to live over the mantel in our living room, but it was never the right piece for that spot — I think the worn, white brick had too much texture, stealing the spotlight and never letting this vintage-looking frame shine

I didn’t want to part with this artwork, because I love the colors and the detailing so much; so when I started adding green to our bedroom (literally a pillow and a blanket, but color is color and this feels like a lot of it for my neutral-loving-heart, okay?!) I set my sights on getting Leslie to hang this over our bed
I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!
It was made to be next to this body pillow (that is insanely cozy, by the way) — like the colors are so good together, it’s all the same tone

I still love the baskets over our bed, because they bring so much texture to the space (they’re all collected from Home Goods over time)
I’m going to shuffle those to another spot in our house too

I love rearranging decor from room to room, because it feels brand new when it’s in a different space, paired with completely different furniture
It’s like that feeling when you rearrange your living room furniture, and it feels brand new!
