Quick disclaimer before we even get started: Shep has never slept a night in his room, but I had a lot of fun making it feel cozy in here anyway
Honestly, we use his room as more of a hang out spot; and Leslie rocks him in his recliner in here
But now it can serve as a guest room too!
And it’s ready for Shep whenever he’s ready to sleep in here ♥️
When my mom found this metal twin bed on marketplace [years ago for Eleanor] it was red, and then she painted it a mint green color for E
Years later, we painted it pink per E’s request
And now it’s Putty by Fusion Mineral Paint to coordinate with Shep’s crib
Eleanor got a queen size bed for Christmas, and I knew I wanted Shep to have this bed eventually, so instead of storing it in our attic, I just incorporated it into his room
I ordered this rug to bring in more color, and I found the base of this lamp at a local salvage store (I love how it looks with this thrifted plaid lamp shade!)
How cute is this alligator stuffy?? Right at 3 feet long, and only $30 (it felt like a sweet little gift for his birthday back in January)
Speaking of sweet gifts, the basket on his nightstand is currently home to a block set of Eleanor’s that she gifted to him (melt my heart!)
I grabbed his green windowpane plaid duvet from IKEA, and it has the best texture (very linen-like)
