I grabbed this sweater from the Nordstrom Sale a couple of months ago, immediately fell in love and ordered the gray one too! It’s been sweltering hot here since it arrived, but I still wanted to style it several ways just to see how versatile it’d be for when the cooler temps actually roll around. Turns out, it’s as flexible a piece of clothing as I’d hoped, and now that I’ve already taken these photos, I can’t stop thinking of more ways that I’m going to be wearing this comfy thing!
Like I said, I live in a warmer climate, so we absolutely have days (mostly evenings) where shorts and a sweater are appropriate. I love the casual coziness of this look! I tossed on my most comfortable pair of booties, but could easily swap for leopard flats for a more refined look (if denim shorts can ever be considered refined lol).
If you’re feeling fancy, you could throw this sweater right over top of your favorite dress, add a heel and accessories and voila! I do have to say that this look was the most out of my comfort zone, and while I stand by loving the look, I think it shows in the pictures that I’m more of a casual kind of girl.
This is easily the most comfortable look yet! I layered the sweater over a t-shirt, because layers are a must-have here in the South. (You might need a sweater at 8am, but by the afternoon, you’ll be stripping down to just the t-shirt.) Faux leather leggings make this outfit feel like you tried a little harder than you actually did, and the fluffy mules pull it all together so nicely!
Okay, I think this last look is the most ME look of them all, and definitely how I’ll mostly be wearing my new favorite sweater! A pair of high rise jeans, my favorite mules and a hat to cover the fact that I probably haven’t washed my hair all week.
