We found the coolest artwork for over our mantel at Home Goods!

I wanted a low cost / high impact switch for our mantel, and really just couldn’t settle on anything I found online

I’m a much better “in person” shopper than I am on the internet

We were strolling the aisles of a new Home Goods location (the airport exit in Jacksonville, Fl) when we both spotted this massive sailboat picture

There wasn’t a price tag though, and the lady working checked the back for the sharpie marker and told us it was $250

So we kept shopping around, and figured we’d come back to it before we left to see how we felt

Much to our surprise, we came back to the aisle coned off and our same lady was marking things down left and right

She told us she was trying to find a price for the piece we were looking at before we left the store, since it was with the markdowns

$160! SOLD!

Not particularly a low price, but for a piece of framed artwork this big (and beautiful), I couldn’t walk away!

I figured if it didn’t work out, we could always return it later

It fits like a glove

Ideally, I’d have some negative space on the brick above the artwork, but we’re rolling with it because we both love it so much

I found this rug that is so similar to our living room rug! We paid $400 for ours pre-inflation, so this isn’t a bad price in my opinion. I love the thickness / sturdiness of this style rug. Wool rugs are my jam!

While I couldn’t find our exact piece online, I did round up all the beautiful sailboat artwork that I could find
